“I am 4”, corrected M, when I asked her how she felt about turning 5. And the other M was sleeping around the time that we were having this conversation.
This indoor candid photoshoot of these two kids, M & M, was one of the most enjoyable ones that I have had in the recent past. First cousins, M & M are separated by a couple of years, age-wise.
These guys decided to first pillage the toy room by exploring the storage boxes, followed by jumping off of it! Then it was dancing time, where the rest of family members were pulled in.
That day was one of Delhi’s smoggiest days but that did dampen the spirits of these kids as they spent sometime outside as well - jumping the muddy puddle or examining a fallen flower.

Hi! I am Shambhavi Kartik, a photographer-mom based out of Delhi. I have been taking up infant, toddler and kids photoshoots since 2016. I try to keep the tone of the shoot as natural and candid as possible, as I strongly feel that kids are best when they are in their natural environment or habitat. I also involve parents and grandparents in the shoot alongwith the baby - afterall it takes a village to raise a child!
